And look what I found (a lot of 24-related stuff)!

I'm still looking for a high-res version of it. He looks really good in a coat and tie. <3

And looking at the pics for Madame Prez' office, I'm betting they're also using Adelle's walls or something because the offices in CTU look so familiar in a Dollhouse-y sort of way. lol.

Here are reviews from Entertainment Weekly. I'm quite surprised that they actually devoted a paragraph for Reed's portrayal of Pillar.

for the May 10 episode:

We’ve yet to learn who’s the ultimate villain behind this year’s bad day but it’s hard not to think it’s Jason Pillar (with Gregory Itzin’s Logan serving as a close runner-up). Tonight, Diamond enjoyed some of his meatiest scenes to date, first with his attempt to convince Cole that he was saddling up with the wrong side and then when he failed to sway Logan to get out while the gettin’ was good. I found tonight’s high-pressure scenes with Pillar the most exhilarating — even if that plastic assistant of his looks like she was recruited from the Playboy Mansion..

And some promo vids wherein Reed and Gregory Itzin battle for the "Who's got the bluest eyes on 24?" contest

OMG, JASON. WHY'D YOU LEAVE CTU?! I feel something bad's gonna happen. *shakes fist to the sky*

I haven't watched 24 yet (and yes, I'm kind of a spoiler whore). How are you all finding it so far? XD

Cute pic :D
I just saw episode 10AM-11AM and was hoping for that "your day is bad but Jack is always having a worse one" feel and instead found myself pretty much just saying "Chloe you traitorous bitch" (clearly being head of CTU, even acting head, deprives you the ability to remember rule one: Jack Bauer Is Always Right) and, more importantly, "Why are they woefully underusing Reed Diamond?!"
I'm hoping for better in the next couple of episodes but I'm avoiding spoilers, even promo trailers for this show.
Also, I hadn't noticed until you posted that cap and comment but yes, the similarities to the Dollhouse walls is definitely there :)

Reed was excellent in the show last night, although I'm having trouble suspending my disbelief at the whole gunfight business.

And, I'm sad to report that my prediction came true--Jason didn't stay at CTU and it doesn't look like he's going to keep his head down. Sigh.

In the good news department, Entertainment Weekly has been complimentary of Reed's work the entire time. He gets positive mention each week.

Does this mean your computer is better?

I'm wondering at this point if Cole's words are prophetic. He said something to the effect of ... There are no good guys here. Not Jack. Not Pillar. If they killed each other, that might be best.

I've heard Howard Gordan, I think, has said the end is dark and goes out on a limb a bit. Whatever that means.

I just can't help but think how crazy would it have been if 24 hired Olivia Williams as Pillar's assistant, instead of Barbie. That would have been epic.

What is up with the Barbie doll anyway? Seems like they want us to think they've worked together for a while.

I wouldn't be surprised if we find out later that they're sleeping together. It's interesting how concerned Pillar was that Barbie doesn't ditch him.

I was thinking it might even be more than that. Engaged? Married? Not very pregnant to give Jason something to lose. That was actually not a bad moment between them--the we're in this together thing.

Then they could give the Jack Bauer imprint to Victor. That could work.

I'm not sure I can see the Barbie Doll pulling the strings, but stranger things have certainly happened. Jason might well have been pulling Charles Logan's strings--using his desire to mend his legacy for illicit purposes (or maybe to draw out the nasty Russians who don't want the peace treaty).

Shagging each other, yes. Mutual blackmail, though?

I missed Alias, so I'm not savvy to the mutual blackmail possibilities, I guess.:)

I think the end described is the very best that can be hoped for Jason, but ... At least he's getting decent screen time, even if it is a prelude to making him the man ultimately responsible for Jack's bad day.

I want Jason to hook up with a female character played by Olivia Williams. They could do it on the table of the office with the special shading windows.

I could completely see Olivia Williams playing Reed's old flame on F&B. That could be fun.

And the special shading windows are a bit opaque. That would be a very interesting visual.
