This is great! Thanks for writing! I didn't really ship this until last night. I'm still not sure I do or not, but I generally want good things to happen for Damien. All of them.

I shipped it a tiny bit before this episode aired and had a very different take on it, but then this idea popped into my head and forced its way out very quickly. Damien!Muse was in a hurry. Your gifs were most inspiring by the way.

In terms of story, I think having them romantically involved is a way to tie Damien tighter to the group when he goes off to be a judge. Which, I believe, has to happen now or things have made very little sense.

It's interesting, before this latest episode aired, I realized that Damien hadn't looked twice at any woman this entire season, which is unusual. And then he kissed Rachel and I'm thinking, ok, maybe that plays.
