The big firm Infeld and Daniels hires Franklin & Bash to bring their wild card to their stodgy old firm. Infeld’s (Malcolm McDowell) nephew Damien Karp (Reed Diamond) is like the crusty old dean who’ll always be thwarted by young punks Franklin and Bash. Karp’s blatant anger at a press conference is entertaining because it’s so not going to help him or his clients. He’ll be ripe for a legal pantsing every week.

Also, this, "the crusty old dean who’ll always be thwarted by young punks Franklin and Bash" makes me really want to write that Case Sensitive/Franklin & Bash plotbunny o'mine and have DS Charlie Zailer and Damien Karp meet. It will be gloriously fluffy and awk-some. (but they're really in a Dollhouse AU post 2x12, wherein Rossum won, but the end-of-the-world didn't happen. Instead, they ruled the world and put all their enemies in the Attic, Adelle and Co., included)

Well, they aren't ruling the world. Not yet-- Damien and Charlie will figure out they're actually part of a secret organization that brainwashes people and they realize that they're actually Laurence Dominic and Adelle DeWitt. And then there will be distrust going on between the two and they'll be off ~saving the others from their Attic-y plight. At some point in the fic, it'll be a glorious crossover of all the shows the Dollhouse peeps have guested in. And then they all escape the Attic and kick Rossum's ass

Or it can just be a fluffy Case Sensitive/Franklin and Bash crossover. With some smexing. Maybe.

Especially when that hot officer of the law looks like Olivia Williams. Trololol.

I do not know any crusty old dean. All the college deans I've met are cooler than me and my friends.

There's so much to dislike in one paragraph, beginning, perhaps, with the word "old." But he won't literally get a "legal pantsing" (whatever that actually is) every week because they work for the same firm.

This is really helped me continue to lower my expectations, so that's one sort of positive thing.
