So, people who like Reed Diamond/Laurence Dominic need to watch the episode of 24 that aired tonight. He's been on several episodes (3, I think?) prior to this for the season, but tonight's episode he is in familiar form. I swear I thought I was watching Laurence Dominic grace my tv screen again.

My LJ account is supposed to be deleted right now, but I had to come back only to squee a little about this.

Dude, Reed Diamond is playing Laurence Dominic again! *flails* I mean, it's the same smugness, the same facial expressions, he's even got the suit! It's like watching Dominic act on the behalf of ex-president Douchbag. I console myself in imagining that he's secretly working for the NSA here too, and therefore is not on the wrong side either!

BUT LAURENCE DOMINIC. IT IS HIM ON MY SCREEN.

Also, though I totally know he's working for douchbag Logan, in a head-to-head against Jack, I'm not sure who'd I'd want to win. Jack is making some seriously screwed up calls, and all thoughts of reason or sensibility have gone out the window. He's out for revenge, and yeah... I am strangely uninterested and uninvested in this. Even if it's for Renee, I could care less. This season of 24 is just horrible writing and it's inspiring apathy in me, even for Jack! Which feels wrong, but there you go. I've always rooted for Jack because ultimately, even when he does a shitty thing, I know he's "doing the right thing." Here, that's bullshit, and I can't wrap my head around the writer's logic that he's the only good guy left on the playing field. Yeah, the Pres is wrong, but that doesn't make Jack right. Therefore, it's kinda hard to root for him when he's acting batshit insane as well as being wrong.

This show has no good guys. Except Chloe, I suppose.

Man, 24 sucks this season.

BUT REED DIAMOND. *FLAILS* Never, ever lose your smugness, babe. I would be devastated otherwise. (Though, next time, play a good guy!)
